The 2024 Asian Women's Handball Championship is the 20th edition of the Asian Women's Handball Championship, which takes place from 3 to 10 December 2024 in New Delhi, India.[1] It was scheduled to be held in Almaty, Kazakhstan but later moved to India.[2] The tournament is held under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation and acts as the Asian qualifying tournament for the 2025 World Women's Handball Championship, with the top four teams qualifying. If countries from Oceania (Australia) would have participated in the tournament finished in the top 5, they would have qualified for the World Championships.
Draw
[edit]The draw was scheduled to be held on 22 September 2024,[3] but later postponed.[4] The draw took place on 18 October 2024.[1][5]
