Naming conventions for books

[edit source]

Everything in the project infrastructure, from the simplest to the most complex, assumes that the name of a book is the part of the page name before the first slash. There's just no way these pages under root IB can be made to work. --Pi zero (discusscontribs) 18:11, 3 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Alternatively, if this is meant to be a single book, that too will not work because "IB" isn't its intended title. So, choose your poison; one way or 'tother, this organization has to change for the material to not be hidden from most of the project. --Pi zero (discusscontribs) 18:51, 3 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
I'm treating the whole as a book titled "IB"; the undesirability of that as the title of a book is a separate issue from indexing. At this moment, subsections of the book cannot be categorized project-wide because they aren't books and we don't now have indexing of pages; eventually, once I've got the subject- and book-indexing straightened out, I hope we can create a keyword-indexing infrastructure. --Pi zero (discusscontribs) 17:58, 12 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
