Mandarin. Initially created as the pinyin of (zhān), but 漢語大字典 gives zhān. Now reads A syllable only realized when the syllable zhǎn is followed by another third-tone syllable. Theknightwho (talk) 22:08, 25 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Theknightwho: I think this reading for 薝 is only found in ctext.org, which may not be reliable. However, zhán seems to be a variant reading for (usually zhān), found in 辞海(第六版彩图本). — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 22:36, 25 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
