No transclusions. This page was apparently not necessary, since Wikipedia:WikiProject Louisville/Hot articles exists and is updated by a bot. – Jonesey95 (talk) 19:31, 18 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Unused succession template, apparently replaced by the more thorough {{EA Sports NASCAR series}} navbox. – Jonesey95 (talk) 19:23, 18 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Undocumented infobox template with only non-English parameter names, used in one draft article. That draft could probably use {{Infobox criminal}} or a similar infobox. – Jonesey95 (talk) 17:26, 18 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I, the author, have been replaced with a more generic existing template, so I also agree to delete it. Hzt0208042508415531 tw (talk) 03:56, 24 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Unused. Places talk pages into a deleted category, so this template itself should probably be deleted. DB1729talk 14:36, 18 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Template:CEN-notice is a much better alternative. Because it is substituted with a date stamp, it is less likely that users will stumble upon a stale notice. Schierbecker (talk) 07:21, 18 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No transclusions. Also missing Pluto. I miss Pluto. Created in May 2023. – Jonesey95 (talk) 07:11, 18 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete. There is no prejudice against this template being recreated as a "message" style template similar to {{ANI-notice}}. Primefac (talk) 10:53, 26 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This should be replaced with a substitutable template. This template is transcluded on 413 pages and in most cases with no date attached so there is no way of telling how stale it is. I found examples of this that were applied in 2016. Schierbecker (talk) 07:03, 18 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Subst current version as a talk message or just delete current uses. What a horrible implementation of such a template. This should either be created as a talk page discussion notification message or possibly added to {{WikiProject Biography}} as a parameter (which will suffer from the same problem but at least cause less clutter). Whichever way, leaving this is a stand alone banner that no one cares to remove (20ish active discussions vs over 400 transclusions) is not an option (unless someone wants to create and maintain a bot to remove these when removed from Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons/Noticeboard). • Delete. Non-functional template that ages poorly and, if used as a banner (its design indicates that it should be used as a banner), it becomes a banner carrying false information. What it says is wrong ~95% of the time. Not needed as a banner, and not needed as a template. Editors should just post a notification at the bottom of the talk page, and a template isn't needed for that, and if a graphical element is desired, just use one of the general WP:DISCUSSIONTEMPLATES (e.g.: "  Note: I've brought up the issues discussed above at WP:BLPN"). —Alalch E. 19:06, 18 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
