- Fair use sample replaced by File:Dare You to Move sample.ogg, which, in my opinion, is a better representation of the band's style on The Beautiful Letdown. —Akrabbimtalk 03:09, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Could someone please delete the two OLDER versions of this file, from the history?
Please DON'T delete the file itself! Parrot of Doom 12:36, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Deleted the old versions. This is actually a speedy delete, FFD is not required. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 12:51, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Non-free screenshot of a politician talking on TV. Fails NFCC#8: the content of the speech cited in the article can be understood without seeing the face of the person talking. There are already other images of the same person in the article. Fut.Perf. ☼ 23:18, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Non-free photograph of a (not independently notable) person who happened to be among the victims of a massacre, used in the article about the massacre. Fails NFCC#8: event can be understood without seeing this particular person. Fut.Perf. ☼ 23:21, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: Delete - there is clear consensus here that the image does NOT significantly add to reader's understanding and so fails WP:NFCC#8 - Peripitus (Talk) 09:36, 23 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- File:TsaiChin-HuiDaoWeilai-cover.jpg (delete | talk | history | logs) - uploaded by AjaxSmack (notify | contribs).
- The album cover is used in the artist's discography section without critical commentary against Wikipedia:Non-free content and the album cover does not aid in readers' understanding of the artist and not having it in the article is not detrimental to readers' understanding of the artist thus violating WP:NFCC#8 Aspects (talk) 23:41, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep. There is no violation of any point of WP:NFC policies. Depite what the nominator asserts, the image is not used as part of a discography and is not without commentary (the commentary appears below the image). Using multiple non-free images within a larger topic is frequent at Wikipedia (see, e.g., Jay Chou) and CD cover images are used within articles on a performer (Gerald Levert, David Tao) if there is not yet a free-standing article on the album. — AjaxSmack 01:17, 16 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- The one sentence caption does not satisfy critical commentary necessary for the album cover to be on the artist article. The mention of other articles is just an example of WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS that has no bearing on the deletion of this album cover. Aspects (talk) 02:18, 16 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Then please elucidate the quantity of critical commentary needed because I've been trying to find out that for years (see WT:NFC archives). In know otherstuffexists but I've seen everything from no text at all on up pass for critical commentary while the deletionists hem and haw but refuse to be pinned down on specifics. You provide a number and I'll provide the commentary. — AjaxSmack 22:39, 16 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete - No critical commentary whatsoever. Fails WP:NFCC#8. Garion96 (talk) 12:42, 19 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- How does it fail WP:NFCC#8 and does WP:NFCC#8 relate to critical commentary? There is critical commentary on the album in the article. If the amount or nature of it doesn't satisfy you, please specify the quantity or quality you think is desirable. — AjaxSmack 06:57, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- The silence is deafening. — AjaxSmack 03:47, 23 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
