Automatic or Manually Assisted: Automatic
Programming Language(s): PHP
Function Summary: Replace hard-coded info-tables on pages listed at List of settlements in the Achaea prefecture with proper {{Infobox settlement}}s.
Edit period(s) (e.g. Continuous, daily, one time run): One time run
Already has a bot flag (Y/N): Y
Function Details: Per bot request, the tables need replacing with a proper infobox, for consistency and so forth. The bot would scan each page, replacing any hard-coded tables such as the one at Diasello, Achaea with settlement infoboxes. It would not touch infobox Greek Dimos. This would otherwise be a long, tedious and sometime difficult project for a human to undertake, as Andy Mabbett asserted on the request for a bot.

edit- Approved for trial (20 edits). Please provide a link to the relevant contributions and/or diffs when the trial is complete. I'll approve both tasks for trial, it's up to you what order you run them in. Richard0612 13:48, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- The observant will notice I have made three edits thus far. The first two had problems which had to be fixed by me; I corrected this for the third. However, all three gave me insights into improvements I could make to the algorithm. Sorry for any inconvenience, I'm working on it. - Jarry1250 (t, c) 09:50, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Trial complete. These edits were not without their problems, I should add, but all have now been ironed out. If you want to check any specifics, go ahead and post them here so I can assure you that they've been fixed. Also, although 20 edits covers the original list, there are other very similar tables in other similar lists, so permission for those would be useful. Cheers, - Jarry1250 (t, c) 20:29, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Approved. Just make sure that you've squashed all the bugs before you convert the other articles using such tables :P Richard0612 21:50, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
