Faulconer has received some limited press for composing music for the American dub of Dragon Ball Z. At best, WP:BLP1E applies here, and his article should be reduced to a redirect to the DBZ article. WikiDan61^ChatMe!_ReadMe!! 13:33, 12 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I believe you will find an enormous number of works by Bruce Faulconer listed in BMI. It is quite substantial, being 276 titles. His television music alone includes more than merely DBZ, and yet he did 224 episodes of DBZ. Short of sending 224 VHS tapes to verify Faulconer's contribution (or the orange box DVD set available from FUNimation), I believe the IMDb has supporting relevance. Other television works were included in the original post. Here is an annotation for one of his many works for PBS.

In a brief search, Faulconer has had multiple performances at universities around the US, some of these include: Bolling Green University, North Texas State University, Ohio State University, and the University of California at San Diego https://library.uta.edu/sci/sites/library.uta.edu.sci/files/nc_1979.pdf.

Faulconer had the premiere of his Interface I at the International Gaudeamus Music Week in the Netherlands. His works were played during concerts in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Hilversum, and was also broadcasted over Radio Netherlands.

Faulconer was a composer invited to the MacDowell Colony for a residency in the summer of 1982, where he worked on his Sonata for Flute and Piano, and Concerto for Trumpet and Orchestra.

He was featured in DMagazine, and received the 1980 National Endowment for the Arts Award.

In 1986, Faulconer's Washington on the Brazos was premiered by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra as cited in DMagazine.

Bruce Faulconer made Fantasia for viola solo (1980), as well as Fantasia No. 2 for viola solo (1990) which was listed here.

As far as coverage from anime and manga resources, he has been posted by numerous anime news websites, blogs, and forums.

- Comment @Wikiherm: Perhaps you have not read Wikipedia's guidelines on notability of musicians. We require multiple instances of significant coverage, or achievements (such as major music awards) that would then presume the presence of significant coverage. None of the examples you list meet these criteria. Also, stating that Faulconer was "featured" in D Magazine is something of a stretch: in a page of over 7,000 words listing the notable events occurring in Dallas in March 1980, 31 words are dedicated to the announcement of a concert by Faulconer and 4 other artists at SMU, where he was teaching at the time. Delete, do not redirect. Resoundingly non-notable, one passing mention of him on JSTOR, as an assistant professor in 1978. No mention of him in Grove Music Online, where we'd expect any notable composer to appear. Given the rate at which the sockpuppets are appearing, this page should be deleted and not redirected – but without prejudice to the subsequent creation of a "clean" redirect.
