The article Liam McGeary has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. MMA articles
editHello TGagne20, thanks for all your recent efforts with MMA articles. Something you might not be aware of is that on Wikipedia we have a manual of style that dictates how we are to format and edit articles in general. In your case the relevant part is WP:OVERLINK which tells us not to link well-known geographical areas and if we link something once we should not do it again. I've noticed that some of your edits run counter to this.
Likewise the WP:MMA project has its own manual of style for its articles which you can read at that link. This style guide was created by a consensus of editors within the MMA project. There are several things of note in that manual but the one I recently saw in your edits was the "style" entry in the infobox. Basically we are not to put anything in that spot.
If you disagree with any of the decisions that your fellow Wikipedia editors have made then please discuss it on the relevant talk page and try to generate a new consensus. If you have any questions or comments you can reach me on my talk page. Thanks, SQGibbon (talk) 23:24, 5 October 2013 (UTC)
Please do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Mike Kyle. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you. Again, please read WP:OVERLINK and while you're at it WP:MMA. If you do not wish to follow the style agreed to by your fellow Wikipedians then perhaps Wikipedia is not the place for you. SQGibbon (talk) 22:41, 7 October 2013 (UTC)

MMA Articles, again
editHello. I see that you are still overlinking in articles even though I've pointed this out to you several times (not counting all the times I mentioned it to you when you were editing as an IP). You need to read WP:OWN which basically tells you that you do not own Wikipedia or any of the articles within Wikipedia. You cannot adopt whatever style you want in editing Wikipedia in contradiction to the consensus views of other Wikipedia editors. Your continuing to do so is disruptive.
Furthermore, the fact that you refuse to communicate with other editors is also a problem. If you disagree with any of the style guidelines created by your fellow editors then the best way to handle that is to start up a discussion and get the consensus view changed.
Frankly, the lack of respect you are showing to your fellow Wikipedians and MMA fans is staggering. MMA fans have spent years building a style guide that best represents the MMA on Wikipedia while still working within the larger guidelines of the Wikipedia community. The fact that you knowingly go against these style guidelines and refuse to engage in any discussion about it indicates that perhaps Wikipedia is not the best place for you. If you cannot work with others then you do not belong here. SQGibbon (talk) 15:04, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
- Forgot to mention this from WP:MMA "In the column Event, only wikify events that have an article at Wikipedia, not organizations. Organizations should only be wikified once within the body text of the article." You have been linking to organizations which is clearly against the community consensus. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Notification of edit to Dom O'Grady
editI have removed a reference link to this page on the article for deceased Michigan mixed martial artist Dom O'Grady. My reason for deleting this reference is that it is a non-notable page written by Mr. O'Grady himself while he was still alive. This prohibits conformity to WP:IS.
