editHi Speedstyle101! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Koenigsegg Jesko that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Your personal preference for mph as a unit doesn't give you the right to change articles that use kph to that preference, Koenigsegg is a European manufacturer so Swedish units are used TylerBurden (talk) 21:59, 16 August 2022 (UTC)
- Hi, thanks for explaining, I guess I shouldn't have included the first unit flip as minor. I personally prefer km/h, but two numbers in the sentence were already mph, so while formatting them properly I changed the other for consistency. (My edit description of 'nicer units' probably didn't help; what I really meant was the more appropriate formatting/sig figs.) mph also matched the sources (and it seems like Koenigsegg themselves?) so in other writing I'd use the original figure with conversion parenthesized; but here I should've looked up MOS:UNITS instead, and I've checked out WP:MINOR for future. - Understandable, happy editing. TylerBurden (talk) 10:03, 17 August 2022 (UTC)
