Beaulieu
editHi:) - a small problem with your bot. It has linked en:Beaulieu, Hampshire (in England) wrongly to pl:Beaulieu (Calvados) and sr:Beaulieu (Calvados) [[in France). This happened before with YurikBot too. Jameswilson 23:29, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
Bots and two-letter abbreviations
editHi! Some interwiki bots, including SashatoBot, have been adding links from e.g. en:erbium to no:ER (some histories: [1], [2], [3]). This is wrong because no:ER isn't an element article, it's a dab page containing the dab template no:Template:Tobokstavsforkortelse. See also my talk with Yurik, ChongDae, and Quistnix. Please stop making wrong links. Thank you. --Eddi (Talk) 04:46, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
Centuries
editThe bot added an interwiki link from 5th millennium to sr:41. век. This is incorrect as the following articles in sr: all linked to 5th millennium:
- sr:41. век
- sr:42. век
- sr:43. век
- sr:44. век
- sr:45. век
- sr:46. век
- sr:47. век
- sr:48. век
- sr:49. век
- sr:50. век

- Now it (and some other bots) are linking eu:XXI. mendearen taula to 25th century. I think I've killed the error in the other 8 languages, as well. — Arthur Rubin | (talk) 22:44, 11 August 2007 (UTC)

Vitamin A
editPlease stop changing the English links on other-language wikipidias pointed to from Vitamin A. These should point to Vitamin A and not to Retinol. --Trovatore 04:02, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
A request for assistance
editWould you support the concept of moving the Earhart "myths" to a separate page or article? The reason for my suggesting this is that the main article should be an accurate and scholarly work while the speculation and conspiracy theories surrounding the disappearance of Amelia Earhart are interesting, they belong in a unique section. Most researchers, as you know, discount the many theories and speculation that has arisen in the years following her last flight. Go onto the Earhart discussion page and register your vote/comments...and a Happy New Year to you as well. Bzuk 05:02 3 January 2007 (UTC).
Hi, the interwiki links you added to Delain were incorrect. Bryan 13:25, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
Category:Egypt
editHi, SashatoBot. When you edited Category:Egypt diff, you changed the alphabetical order of other interwiki links. Interwiki links should be arranged in alphabetical order. I will rearrange them but don't do this again.

Automated message to bot owners
editAs a result of discussion on the village pump and mailing list, bots are now allowed to edit up to 15 times per minute. The following is the new text regarding bot edit rates from Wikipedia:Bot Policy:
Until new bots are accepted they should wait 30-60 seconds between edits, so as to not clog the recent changes list and user watchlists. After being accepted and a bureaucrat has marked them as a bot, they can edit at a much faster pace. Bots doing non-urgent tasks should edit approximately once every ten seconds, while bots who would benefit from faster editing may edit approximately once every every four seconds.
Also, to eliminate the need to spam the bot talk pages, please add Wikipedia:Bot owners' noticeboard to your watchlist. Future messages which affect bot owners will be posted there. Thank you. --Mets501 04:52, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
Please take this into account
editThere is no reason to add wikilinks to Siberian wiki anymore, as that project is closed: [4].
I noticed the bot added the link to Vladimir Putin on 24/10. --Paul Pieniezny 13:23, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
Another problem with your bot
editAt this edit, the bot added interwikis to Template:Infobox Artist outside the <noinclude> tags, causing ghost interwiki links on all pages which used the template, as discussed here. And the links were already included in the template's documentation. Can you please stop it from making such edits? Xn4 15:47, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- The same problem here... please improve your bot! Torzsmokus (talk) 04:03, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
