Hi there, Osm. Thank you - I only wish there were others to share the honor with me. Unfortunately, I don't have any contributions in the Arabic Wikipedia, but that's probably because I am not very efficient with Arabic and I am already quite busy in life. :-)

Oh, and there's nothing wrong with your English. As a matter of fact, it's perfect. ;-) Tell me, Osm, how are medical studies in Syria? I'm curious. —Anas talk? 23:40, 18 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

December 2009?

edit

Hello. FYI, I reverted an edit of yours. I assume "December 2009" was a typo?  Doulos Christos ♥ talk  21:15, 17 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

I am sorry, it's February not December --Osm agha (talk) 18:13, 27 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
I fixed it, it is Feb 2009 not Dec 2008 nor (for sure :)) Dec 2009 --Ciphers (talk) 04:24, 28 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content, as you did to User:Malikakbar/islam. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalized, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. Reverting my edits

edit

Hello John, I believe you are right. I should have added references before adding the categories to the articles. I will revert your edit in the article about Nicolas Anelka because it's mentioned in the article that he is a muslim with references. In the other articles, I will put some references before adding any categories. Kind Regards --Osm agha (talk) 18:34, 9 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Since you can speak French, you can take a look on this. Regards --Osm agha (talk) 18:43, 9 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
You disappointed me John, the article about Franck Ribéry also mentions that he converted to Islam! --Osm agha (talk) 18:50, 9 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
Hi Osm agha and thanks for your understanding of our policy on living people. I only inspected two of the edits you made before reverting all the category edits you had made. I quite agree that this information is appropriate if it can be verified. Best wishes, --John (talk) 01:07, 10 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

I have reverted your addition of controversial material to the Nicholas Anelka article. The reference provided does not meet the reliable source criteria as required in all biographies of living people articles. Regards, --ponyo (talk) 19:01, 11 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Sorry for that. The user who deleted these information did not say why he did it. So, I thought this was a kind of vandalism and reverted his edit. --Osm agha (talk) 19:50, 11 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
No worries - I have a feeling that this same info is likely to keep popping up in the article as any new salicious gossip is apt to do, but until it can be reliably sourced you will likely see it removed repeatedly as well. Cheers, ponyo (talk) 20:05, 11 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
