If you did not not know, TV show articles on Wikipedia do not censor/withhold episode summaries "to spoil the outcomes for episodes until it has aired in all time zones", "the summary will be posted as 12:01 am", or similar messages. Since this is a wiki, you have to let other users edit this page who may wish to. As I mentioned, whenever an episode of a popular show such as American Idol or 24 ends on the East coast, some of those rabid fans start adding in the summaries to the articles. Hi Nick, I've noticed your edits to Star Trek: New Voyages and James Cawley. I will not edit those articles, as I may be seen to have a conflict of interests (see my userpage), but I did want to point out that you've added information not covered in any cite (and I should know, since almost all such eventually trace back to me). For instance, Buck: "produced or released" - heck, I've even got scenes released through various outlets (Trekmovie, YouTube, etc). Or "The Protracted Man"--now retitled "Origins" - it's the other way around (Origins was our working title), as verifiable to various RS's out there, also which return to information I've written and/or released. Hey man, I've seen some of the edits you're making on the Kevin Smith pages. I just wanted to let you know why I reverted or followed up on some of your edits so you don't think I'm just going behind you undoing a bunch of stuff you did. I removed the DVD chapter/easter egg stuff from the Q&A pages, because Wikipedia isn't an indiscriminate collection of information. Articles are meant to provide a decently thorough summary of a topic, and in-depth specifics like DVD chapters and easter eggs are left to other sites. For instance, since we don't put DVD chapters on the article for Magnolia (film or Gangs of New York, there's no reason to include it on the Q&A pages. Keep up the good work! Let's get one thing perfectly straight:

I don't have to watch the source material. YOU do. You wanna add material to Wikipedia, then you have to add the citations that support it. When the citation in question is an episode of a TV series or Web series, then you have to cite the episode or episodes in question. You didn't do that. You merely cited the main page for Spoilers on Hulu. That is NOT a citation. It makes no mention of Mewes, nor his jobs on the show. Similarly, "Kevin Smith: Live from Behind podcast" is not a valid citation either, because it does not provide a reader with enough information with which he/she can verify the material, as per WP:Verifiability. It is that policy that is the relevant one at hand, and not your arbitrary and dogmatic statements as to what is "confirmed". You might also want to reconsider presuming to tell far more experienced editors and administrators what proper editing procedure is, given that you've racked up about 1,237 edits since 2005.

Similarly, I do not have to go looking to another Wikipedia article. One Wikipedia article cannot be cited as a source in another, since that violates WP:CIRCULAR. That being said, I did look in the Jay and Silent Bob article. You'd know this, if you actually bothered looking more closely at that article's edit history (which is kinda similar, you know, to what you accused me of doing), because if you had, you'd have seen that I removed that material from that article too for the same aforementioned reason.

Now you might be thinking, "Wait, how do I cite an episode? I don't know how to do that!" Well, you could've done some checking, or asked around, or hell, maybe even just asked me, since I'm happy to help less-experienced editors, as it says at the top of my user page. But even if you put those solutions aside, there's another pretty obvious way you could've learned how to cite an episode:

You might've looked at my edits a bit more closely (again, kinda what you accused me of) and saw that I myself cited an episode of Spoilers in order to support Mewes' job as Executive Producer on that show. Y'know, that episode citation that you REMOVED in your last edit? See it now? In the left hand side of the page showing the difference between the page before and after your removed my citation, and replaced with your inane citation of the Hulu main page for the show? Yeah, that's right, my friend. I actually did watch the first two episodes of Spoilers (why you assumed I didn't, I don't know), despite the fact that I wasn't required to, and cited the premiere for the Exec Producer credit.

Now maybe instead of attacking me as you did on my talk page for not seeing that Stage Manager credit, you could've considered all this, and just maybe, contacted me by saying, "Hey, thanks for adding that episode cite for the Exec Producer credit! But in case you missed it, this episode here supports the Stage Manager credit too!". Now I'm sorry I missed that portion of the credits. With the all the cleaning up I do of poorly-written messes left by people like you who don't care about following this site's policies or exhibiting half-intelligble writing (newsflash: the word dependent is not spelled dependant, and we do not refer to subjects by their given names), I miss things sometimes. But if you'd like to inform me of which episode that was, and in a polite tone, then do so, and I'll add that info. Addendum: I viewed the entire podcast episode to verify the material you added to the Substance abuse section, and reviewed the portion you specified near the one hour mark twice. It makes no mention of when his last relapse occurred, the year, when it was in relation to his marriage, wife's actions, etc. Again, adding such unsourced material is a violation of WP:V and WP:NOR.
