Hi: I noticed that you have responded to a reversion (in Percival Vega Gull) by creating an article. Well done. It's worth noting that (despite the perceived tone of the comment) there is absolutely no objection to creating redlinks, and they are not normally deleted. Indeed it's encouraged, for someone may see an article needs writing. But thanks for the C.W.A. Scott page.TSRL (talk) 23:09, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
Good luck, and have fun. FWIW, Bzuk (talk) 08:26, 14 January 2010 (UTC).
Only just found your message lol Bzuk but thankyou, I may need some help with something soon as it goes, cheers Jimmy3d0 (talk) 00:52, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
Charles Kennedy Scott
editHi, Thanks for you message about your distinguished forbear! He was obviously a candidate and I had had him in mind for some time: after reading the London Philharmonic Choir article, which has been very substantially improved recently, I saw the one visible page from Jstor from the 1951 article on CKS and realised I could add it to what I already knew, and make something of it. Hence what you see. I'm very grateful for your note of appreciation. As you know, there is 'No OWNERSHIP' in wikipedia articles, but it's very nice to know I made a 'good start'. Thankyou. Every good wish, Eebahgum (talk) 23:49, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
Infobox at C.W.A. Scott
editHi, I've fixed up the infobox in this article, tidied it up a bit and added a few details; feel free to modify anything as you feel appropriate. The width of the signature is fixed at 180px, but I'll see if I can get that changed.
Just wanted to query a few things that I spotted while skimming over the article:
- The "Personal life" section states that he was married three times, but there doesn't seem to be any mention of his last wife, nor is a third wife mentioned in the quote from the "Later years" section.
- The birth and death dates as given in the article would mean that he was aged 43 at the time of his death, but the quote in the "Later years" section says that he was 42.
Regards, and let me know if you need any further assistance. PC78 (talk) 16:58, 3 September 2010 (UTC)
- About the size of the signature, it will require a change to the actual infobox template in order for it to display any bigger. I've made a proposal at Template talk:Infobox person, so if there are no objections then this change can be made. Regards. PC78 (talk) 17:28, 4 September 2010 (UTC)
You have an initial review there with some points to be addressed. Let me know if oyu need anything, otherwise I'll check back in a few days to see how it's going. Best, HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 22:52, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
Well Done.
editI would just like to say well done to Jimmy3d0. I had been for some time wanting to rectify the lack of an entry for Scotty on Wikipedia. Unfortunately, it's much, much easier to correct errors than start an entry from scratch, and I knew that my skills were not up to the job. Wikipedia can very very frustrating at times. Interesting people like yourself have much to contribute. The slant to U.S. English is very frustrating, but in all fairness, it is a U.S. website...! There are also some very frustrating anoraks on here who will insist upon trashing perfectly good English and throw a childish hissy-fit if you revert it to what was originally perfectly good, correct and concise. As a user of Wikipedia, I never take anything as gospel on here, but it is often a very good place to start research. Personally, Scotty has been a lifelong hero of mine, - what a character..! Incidentally, one thing I have never been able to track-down...where was he actually buried..? Snoopy. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.197.240.167 (talk) 13:39, 24 April 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks User(snoopy) thats really good of you to say, its nice to know that the artical is appreciated, and yes it can be very tough trying to please people on here!! he was buried in Germany in a place called Mengeringhausen near the UNRRA head quarters in berlin, I have a photograph of his grave taken 1950's by the woman who used to tend his grave who sent the photo to our family, Thanks again for your comments! Disambiguation link notification for January 25
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Mark McGowan (performance artist), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Degree (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Stephen Crabb article
editHi, I noticed that you edited Stephen Crabb after I wrote on the talk page there discussing an edit you made so I assume you missed it in all the flurry of edits that have gone on since he was promoted this morning. Could you respond on there so that we can reach a consensus as I don't want to edit war with you. Absolutelypuremilk (talk) 13:08, 19 March 2016 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Pembrokeshire Against Radar Campaign (disambiguation)
editHello, Jimmy3d0,
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Iwaqarhashmi, and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged Pembrokeshire Against Radar Campaign (disambiguation) for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. You may find our guide for writing quality articles to be extremely informative. Also, you may want to consider working on future articles in draft space first, where they cannot be deleted for lacking content.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.
For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Iwaqarhashmi}}
. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!
