Jo Cox
Hi Gaia, apologies if this is not the right medium for this, but I was wondering whether you might be willing to be interviewed (anonymously or otherwise) about your involvement in the Wikipedia community. I'm currently writing an essay about the people who edit Wikipedia, framed around the death of Jo Cox back in June. I was moved by how quickly Cox's Wikipedia page took shape on the day of her death, both to provide up-to-date details on the circumstances of her killing, but also to give definition to her personal and professional record. I would be very grateful if you could write to me at pwargan@gmail.com at your earliest convenience. All the best, Pawel — Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.171.106.170 (talk) 10:42, 12 December 2016 (UTC)

Christ Church Paignton
A resolution was passed by the PCC in April 2016 to maintain it's status as an AB church but oversight remains with the Bishop of Plymouth and the Bishop of Maidstone is regarded as a friend of Christ Church. Both Bishops have conducted services at Christ Church, Maidstone in June and Plymouth in November after the church entered interregnum. It has caused problems with our benefice sister parish who would have liked the opportunity to interview women candidates but cannot due to the resolution. REVUpminster (talk) 21:33, 2 January 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks for the correction REVUpminster! I was a bit confused when I saw a picture on the website/facebook with Maidstone but that it wasn't on his list. I have updated the table to reflect what you've said. You wouldn't happen to have a reference for the resolution? Maybe an online parish newsletter? Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk 19:20, 4 January 2017 (UTC)
- Sorry no, it was only recorded in the PPC minutes.I believe Exeter was told. It was worded carefully so as not to exclude the Bishop of Exeter as some of the resolutions in Essex can prevent the Bishop of Chelmsford entering their churches.REVUpminster (talk) 19:46, 4 January 2017 (UTC)
- That;s okay. If it wasn't for Maidstone publishing his Christmas newsletter on his website, barely any of the evangelical parishes who have passed resolutions would be known! At least the tradition catholic parishes are very open about their views. Maybe Paignton will appear on his next list. That's very interesting about Chelmsford; I'm not sure that that's what the resolutions are supposed to be about... Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk 19:58, 4 January 2017 (UTC)
