Speedy deletion nomination of Ayat (Rapper)
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice that Ayat (Rapper), a page that you created, has been tagged for deletion. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
- It covers a topic on which we already have an article - EL (rapper). (See section A10 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at EL (rapper), or to discuss new information at the article's talk page.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. ... discospinster talk 17:34, 20 December 2017 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Spice Diana
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Spice Diana requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
Disambiguation link notification for February 27
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Kizza Besigye, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Aga Khan Hospital (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:15, 27 February 2018 (UTC)
Deletion discussion about Nataliey Bitature
editHello, Edith Violet Naisubi,
I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Nataliey Bitature should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nataliey Bitature .
If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
Thanks,

editHi, thanks for message. If you post an article it will be assessed as it stands. If you don't want that to happen, you should write it as a draft.
You may have missed my deletion comment G11: Unambiguous advertising or promotion: Refs are not independent third-party sources, see WP:NOTOBIT
You may have missed the article talk page comment from DanielRigal, who said
- It is promotional because its glowing tone is obviously intended to promote the reputation of the article's subject. It also falls foul of the WP:NOTOBIT policy. If the article were to be rewritten from scratch in a much more neutral tone then it is still very unlikely that it could succeed. At present I see nothing indicating that the subject meets the criteria in WP:PROF or WP:GNG.
- I do not think that the article as currently written can be repaired for use on Wikipedia. You can copy it to another website if they will accept it. If you want to make a memorial then that is the best thing for you to do and this is what I recommend.
- I doubt that there is any way that the subject can be suitable for a Wikipedia article so I do not advise starting on a new draft article. If you read the policies then you will see what is required for a person to be notable enough for an article. If you read them carefully and still think that the subject can have an article then you can try making a short draft article focusing on proving that the requirements are met. Please understand that I think this is very unlikely to succeed so please think carefully before you risk wasting a lot of time on it.
I deleted your article because
- it did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the subject, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the subject claims or interviewing them. You gave some references, but they were not independent third-party sources. They included her own CV, her university profile, articles quoting her, and an obituary, which by its nature is likely to be an uncritical eulogy. Much of the text was completely unsourced
- it was written in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic.
- Examples of unsourced or self-sourced claims presented as fact include: won the International Federation on Ageing (IFA) Presidential award isn't supported by the reference you gave, nor is Nana Araba has written over 70 articles
- You decided that she would be the only person on wikipedia to have their surname fully capitalised
- If you have a conflict of interest when editing this article, you must declare it.
Although you claimed on the article talk page that you were familiar with Wikipedia guidelines, all the deletion discussions and warnings above this message suggest otherwise. Before attempting to write this or any other article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. Also read Your first article. You must also reply to the COI request above.
It's not the worse I've seen, and if you want to try again, I'll post the deleted text to a draft page for you to work on, just let me know if you wish to proceed and make any COI declaration Jimfbleak - talk to me? 14:55, 15 April 2018 (UTC)
