On color classification
After linking from linguistic relativity to color perception to color theory to tints and shades, I'm feeling that it may be appropriate to connect Robert Ridgway to color theory somehow. (This might involve discussing Ridgway's work, as well, perhaps, as Wilhelm Hauchecorne's, in conjunction with the history of mapping out different colors. I would add that the color perception makes for quite an interesting read. groupuscule (talk) 20:34, 12 January 2013 (UTC)

Disambiguation of Audubon Society of the District of Columbia

I have two articles in draft: Audubon Naturalist Society and a stub, Audubon Society of the District of Columbia. Audubon Naturalist Society (of the Central Atlantic States) was known as Audubon Society of the District of Columbia from 1897 until 1959; it is the more established and notable organization; and almost all references within Wikipedia to "Audubon Society of the District of Columbia" (here, for instance: Florence Augusta Merriam Bailey) apply to this organization. The present Audubon Society of the District of Columbia, established 1999, is a relatively small organization.
As I have drafted the pages, I have written a hatnote for the Audubon Society of the District of Columbia article referring readers to the other article, and I have wikilinked from Audubon Naturalist Society back to Audubon Society of the District of Columbia as a "similar organization." Is this the best way to handle the disambiguation? Or should we make a dab page titled "Audubon Society of the District of Columbia" and title the stub page something like "Audubon Society of the District of Columbia (chapter)"? - Since there are just two pages that might be confused, a hatnote pointing from one to the other seems sufficient. We will have to check all incoming links, though, to make sure they point to the right article. Furthermore, if "Audubon Society of the District of Columbia" more commonly refers to the pre-1959 organization than the post-1999 one, we should probably turn "Audubon Society of the District of Columbia" into a redirect towards Audubon Naturalist Society and choose a different title for the post-1999 organization, say Audubon Society of the District of Columbia (founded 1999) or something like that, with a hatnote for the redirect target pointing towards the other article. - Thanks for prompting me! This is the first GA article that I have nominated, so I'm learning the protocol. (I didn't notice your review comments for a few days.) I made one pass through the comments for things I can deal with quickly, and I will come back and deal with the remainder very shortly, likely tomorrow. I have two questions: (1) "there’s a "chapter ignored" parameter error in ref #43" -- I don't see the error message, and I don't see any cite that uses a chapter= parameter, so I'm not sure what needs to be fixed.
