Ayman
merci
editHi Ayman,
Thank you for your translation work. We could use a translation of the Wikimedia Newsletter as well, but that may be slightly more difficult. A translation of at least the first two pages (a welcome, and a letter from Jimbo) would be excellent.
The first page is ready for translation now; the second page will be ready for translation by Wednesday morning. +sj+ 08:53, 6 Sep 2004 (UTC)
press release, newsletter development
editThe press release will be ready to go out tomorrow. If you know people in the arabic-language press, or magazines/journals that would be interested in our project, please send them a copy.
The newsletter is finalized, and could eventually use translation into arabic... particularly the founder's letter and the interview. +sj+ 16:28, 19 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Those 4 pages of the newsletter are looking great; I'm excited. The other important page is pg.3 ; with all of the reports about the status of the project, and answers to FAQ. +sj+ 19:56, 22 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Thanks for your feedback, Ayman. Let me know how things are going this weekend. You can also sign up to the translator's mailing list (for general translation events) here.

Looking great so far. See m:translation requests/NL-1/Covers for the images you'll need to translate the cover. +sj+ 09:35, 28 Sep 2004 (UTC)
Arabic script
editYou wrote "I saw your request in Arabic Wikipedia, I can help, but where do you want me to type Arabic names? In your page or in the articles?"
Thanks for you interest! Either one is fine. If you type them on my page, I'll just move the text to the articles myself. – Quadell (talk) (help)[[]] 03:22, Sep 19, 2004 (UTC)

Translation request
editHello, I saw that you can translate from Arabic, so I would like to ask you if you could take a look at 2003 invasion of Iraq and Iraq War. There is a featured article in Arabic which we would like to know how it could be used the English one which is of course dominated by people who have either been there as soldiers or have their knowledge from western media. Someone also asked if the section about "related propaganda and phrases" could be amplified with information about the Iraqi side. Maybe there are also people who took photos in Iraq at the Arabic version? Nameme 14:14, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
