You are now a Reviewer
editHello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.
When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.
If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 04:56, 20 June 2010 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use File:Sarnath Lion Capital of Ashoka.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Sarnath Lion Capital of Ashoka.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the media description page and edit it to add
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. J Milburn (talk) 15:07, 9 September 2010 (UTC)

Autopatrolled
editHello, this is just to let you know that I have granted you the "autopatrolled" permission. This won't affect your editing, it just automatically marks any page you create as patrolled, benefiting new page patrollers. Please remember:
- This permission does not give you any special status or authority
- Submission of inappropriate material may lead to its removal
- You may wish to display the {{Autopatrolled}} top icon and/or the {{User wikipedia/autopatrolled}} userbox on your user page
- If, for any reason, you decide you do not want the permission, let me know and I can remove it
- If you have any questions about the permission, don't hesitate to ask. Otherwise, happy editing! Acalamari 11:22, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
Zoos in India
editI have created a Zoos of India navbox to handle what are essentially a long lists that keep getting longer in India Zoo articles (and are hard to maintain when added individually to articles). I have meant to do this for a long time now (sorry it took so long), but had not gotten around to it. If there are other items that need to be in every India zoo article we can add them to the navbox and they will be updated in all of the articles where they are present. editJust a gentle note, bearing in mind your recent revert to a very old version of the Mair Rajputs article. You seem not to have been terribly involved in caste-related articles of late and therefore may be unaware that there are sanctions in place that apply to all involved in such articles. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Aravalli Biodiversity Park, Vasant Kunj, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.dda.org.in/greens/biodiv/aravalli-biodiversity-park.html.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

- In some articles that I edited on Wikipedia I had archived on respective "Article Talk/Discussion Pages" full news articles as "News Archive" with full acknowledgement of "Source links", I also enclosed the full News Article in "Quotation Marks" when I archived them in article talk/discussion pages not on main article page, I made the "News Archive" on talk pages because I noticed the original News articles are often taken down from original News websites after a couple of years and they are then not available on internet.
My suggestion to Wikipedia would be to Archive all News and other sources that Editors are using in an Internet Archive so researched and referenced sources are always available online. Thanks mrigthrishna (talk) 23:28, 15 September 2017 (UTC)

Sources for history-related articles
editHi, it's great to see your enthusiasm for history-related articles, but you need to be more cautious about the sources you are using. Please read WP:HISTRS.
A lot of material that you've recently added to the articles such as Bourbons of India, Descendants of defeated Maratha Warriors after Battle of Panipat (1761), articles related to Heo Hwang-ok is WP:FRINGE material regarded as pseudo-history by mainstream historians.
For example, in this edit you added some content about the Bourbons of India being mentioned in Mughal records. The reference you cited was this news article.
If you refer to peer-reviewed scholarly sources, you will find that this is a mere speculation by some Goa-based authors, who misinterpret the Persian title "Maryam Makani" as a Portuguese name "Maria Mascarenhas". For example, see Visions of Juliana: A Portuguese Woman at the Court of the Mughals published in the Journal of World History:
“ | (p. 772) Gracias also discusses the speculation that the wife of the Mughal king Akbar (d. 1605), Maryam Makani, could potentially have been a Portuguese woman called Maria Mascarenhas, whose sister, also named Juliana, was married to Jean-Phillipe de Bourbon de Navarre [...] This is faulty; Maryam Makani (d. 1604) was the title given to Akbar's mother, Hamida Banu Begum, who came from a Persian family [...] The honorific title translates to “she who dwells with Mary,” and royal women often held such titles, regardless of religion... | ” |
“ | (p. 784) What Mughal documents do reveal is that the villages held in Juliana's name seemed to have passed to the D'Eremao family, who claimed to be direct descendants of hers, and to be linked with the Bourbons as well. [...] nostalgia fueled some of the more elaborate claims of the D’Eremao family. At the time of Maclagan’s writing, the D’Eremao family claimed that the title of D’Eremao came from the title of Durr-i Yaman or Durr-i Oman (pearl of the Yemen or Oman) conferred by the Emperor Bahadur Shah on their ancestress, Juliana. There is no evidence that Juliana was given such a title, nor is there evidence that she had any ties to the Bourbons. | ” |
A news article about sensationalist claims in a newly-released book is rarely a good source for history-related articles. Sources affiliated with the subject (e.g. bourbon-bhopal.org which you added in this edit) are not acceptable at all.
Various book authors and news writers make extraordinary claims, because these claims sell their writings (e.g. Bourbon Bhopal-France link Ror-Maratha link, Heo-Ayodhya link etc.) However, that does not mean that such claims are accepted as true by mainstream historians.
You can find better sources for history-related articles at the archives mentioned at Wikipedia:The Wikipedia Library. If you do not have access to a particular source, you can request it at Wikipedia:WikiProject Resource Exchange/Resource Request. utcursch | talk 16:24, 6 September 2017 (UTC)

I just let editors of generally related articles on their talk pages know that if they might be interested in bettering this article. Marathas and Rajputs are related tradtional warrior classes of people in India and most Indians know that and as this article conserns those Marathas converted to islam so Muslim Rajput article is related to this article directly as per Indian culture. Interested editors find out from the deletion sorting pages, and this deletion discussion has been added to a number of those (as you can see on the discussion page itself). I have just removed the AfD notice for Present day descendants of the defeated Maratha Warriors of the Battle of Panipat (1761) from about 8 article talk pages, where it definitely did not belong. Think about it: any editor can potentially be interested in editing any article, and every article has something in common with a hundred other articles or more. Article talk pages cannot be littered with deletion notifications for other articles, it would be meaningless and they would not be used for anything else. So please do not add the AfD notice anywhere else. Thank you. --bonadea contributions talk 06:09, 9 September 2017 (UTC)
ok seems to make sense :-) you are right they were added, was just trying my bit mrigthrishna (talk) 06:15, 9 September 2017 (UTC)
No longer autopatrolled
editHi, Atulsnischal. In view of the warnings above concerning copyright violations, original research, and other problems, it seems to me it would be an advantage for you to have your new articles reviewed, rather than having them automatically listed as "reviewed"; see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled for how it works with and without the autopatrolled right. Therefore, I have removed the autopatrolled right from your account. I hope you don't mind. For my part, I think it will be helpful for you. Bishonen | talk 18:20, 10 September 2017 (UTC).
- No worries as it's always better to have other editors help collaborate and make articles better on Wikipedia and if someone is weak in some writing skills or is temporary unwell due to poor health to do further research and do a thorough good job then others can collaborate and fill in were there are shortcomings.
Regarding Descendants of defeated Maratha Warriors after Battle of Panipat (1761), in this article I referred to major newspaper sources a list of which I am providing below, the synthesis was not personal or pov as I only used what was written in the News/Newspaper Sources from major News Organisations and duly acknowledge these in the references, due to poor health I was not able to take the time attach in line references .
Previously in some articles I had archived full news articles as "News Archive" with "Source links" in article talk/discussion pages not on main article page, I made the "News Archive" on talk pages because I noticed the original News articles are often taken down from original News websites after a couple of years.
As far as the Descendants of defeated Maratha Warriors after Battle of Panipat (1761) article is concerned the News sources I used and listed in references were:
