Proposed deletion of BAK File

edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article BAK File, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

WP:DICTDEF

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Certified in Production and Inventory Management

edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Certified in Production and Inventory Management, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: CPIM. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally moving or duplicating content, please be sure you have followed the procedure at Wikipedia:Splitting by acknowledging the duplication of material in edit summary to preserve attribution history.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 11:03, 26 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Cut & Paste move of CPIM

edit

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give CPIM a different title by copying its content and pasting it into Certified in Production and Inventory Management. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other articles that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. Proposed deletion of Food Balance Sheet

edit

The article Food Balance Sheet has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication of how this might meet notability guidelines. Lacks citations to significant coverage in reliable sources.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. RadioFan (talk) 13:16, 4 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Daily Digest

edit

You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Daily Digest requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Morenooso (talk) 18:01, 30 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hello, friend

I like your "Largest food producing countries" page but it does need to have sources cited for the information which you have presented. Would it be possible for you to go back and do that? If you need any help with formatting footnotes and have questions, I'd be happy to try to answer them. Best regards, Carrite (talk) 04:03, 16 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Why the article was deleted

You said:

this is "about this author" from his own book.. will edit later.. no time now.

That doesn't mean it isn't a copyright violation.--SPhilbrickT 11:41, 26 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Aravind V R. You have new messages at Sabrebd's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

Hi, Aravind. I agree with your comment on the Talk:England page: that a note should be added explaining what 'country' means in the context of the 'England' page. You are the proof of this yourself. You aren't British, and the meaning wasn't clear to you, so other non-British readers may be confused by the use of the term.

The basic point is that England, Scotland etc. were independent countries for centuries. They joined together to form a single country called The United Kingdom. (Not a federation.) But British people continued using the term 'country' for England, Scotland etc. by tradition. I'm British, and when I say: "it's happening all over the country" or something similar, I think of the whole of Britain - never just of England. Ansotu (talk) 18:19, 9 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi. When you recently edited N. S. Memorial Institute of Medical Sciences, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Doctors (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Thank you for your recent contributions. Getting started creating new articles on Wikipedia can be tricky, and you might like to try creating a draft version first, which you can then ask for feedback on if necessary, with less risk of speedy deletion. Do make sure you also read help available to you, including Your First Article and the Tutorial. You might also like to try the Article Wizard, which has an option to create a draft version. Thank you.

Please add some good sources to the articles so that it dosen't come in the category of deletion Thanks.--Sandeep (talk) 11:46, 9 April 2012 (UTC) well my friend i am just doing my job which is assigned to me, nothing personal and if you want to know that when i started editing wiki just check in the contribution. Thanks --Sandeep (talk) 12:32, 9 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Improper labeling

edit

Thank you for trying to keep Wikipedia free of vandalism. However, one or more edits you labeled as vandalism, such as the edit at Korean Friendship Association, are not considered vandalism under Wikipedia policy. Wikipedia has a stricter definition of the word "vandalism" than common usage, and mislabeling edits as vandalism can discourage newer editors. Please read Wikipedia:NOTVAND for more information on what is and is not considered vandalism. Thank you. __meco (talk) 07:48, 15 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
