Concerns about edits made from an IP
In reply to the message you left at User talk:Momo san
First, I'm jumping in to answer this since (1) I saw you post the comment on Momo san's talk page and (2) Momo san hasn't been online in a while.
Each article has a history of all* edits made to the article, including the contributor, date, a description of the edit, and changed text. When I pull up the history of the Cheeky Watson article, I do see edits by an IP that Momo san reverted, but those edits were made over a year ago (23 January 2010).
So, if you haven't had your current IP address for over a year, it wasn't related to you. I hope that helps. Reply here if you have any further questions.
* If an article was deleted, the history of that deleted version is not visible. Additionally, edits—or the username or edit summary in the history—may be redacted for reasons including copyright infringement and defamation. Otherwise, all edits to an article are preserved as a history of who contributed to the article; this history is required under the terms of the GFDL and Creative Commons licenses that Wikipedia text is under.

Thanks for the response. It's very strange since I believe I've had my IP for much longer than a year, but I'm happy to find out its not anything recent anyway. Abengoshis (talk) 01:30, 25 February 2011 (UTC)Abengoshis
