editHello, I'm LaffyTaffer. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Maja Vidaković Lalić, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! LaffyTaffer (talk) 17:28, 22 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hi LaffyTaffer,
- Thanks for your message! Just to clarify, Maja Vidaković Lalić is my aunt, and in real life and media, she has never used both last names together. She exclusively goes by "Maja Lalić." For example, you can see this in her appearance on the N1 show Da sam ja NEKO: YouTube Link.
- As for the deceased person mentioned in the edit, that’s my father, Siniša Jakovljević (Maja's brother). He passed away, and while I do have a death certificate as proof, it’s private, so I hope you'll understand why I can't provide it here despite it being a solid reference.
- Let me know if there’s anything else I can do to help clarify!
- Best,

- Hi @Boky, I see you've made edits to the page from both this IP as well as this second account of yours(I wouldn't recommend continuing to use multiple accounts). Due to the subject of the article being a family memeber, you are strongly discouraged from editing the article due to a conflict of interest, please see WP:COI for details regarding that.
- As for the removal of both names, that information is sourced and the majority of the article just uses Lalić, so there's little reason to remove all mention of Vidaković. Additionally, many instances of the name being removed were in the title of cited webpages, which shouldn't be adjusted even if the name was misspelled.
- Regarding your father, that information requires a source due to policy regarding biographies of living(or recently deceased) people, which you can read about at WP:BLP. From my experience, the source can be as simple as a news article or obituary, but an example citation to a nonexistant webpage doesn't work. If a verifiable source can't be attached, the claim shouldn't be introduced to the article.
- I hope you find this information helpful. Thanks :) LaffyTaffer (talk) 05:39, 24 November 2024 (UTC)
