I would ask someone else but I think you are the only one who would understand how to fix this...
Ok, here's the deal... ClueBot III isn't running these days. I came across an editor who would like for automatic archiving on their talk page to start up again. Is there a way to change archiving from ClueBot III to lowercase sigmabot III? I was trying to help out this editor but how should the page deal with the changing nomenclature of the archive-page titles? If I just put in the lowercase sigmabot code, that bot doesn't "know" that archive pages exist, etc. The user talk page is User talk:Chicbyaccident. Please help, Σ, I am pretty darn sure you're my only hope. Thanks, Shearonink (talk) 14:51, 10 April 2016 (UTC)
- He's not your only hope. I switched to Sigmabot for you.—cyberpowerChat:Online 17:27, 10 April 2016 (UTC)
- Yay! The coding was so beyond me but now that you have done it I can lift your code and do it myself if I run across the issue again. Question though... where are the visible archive links (archive box & links to index etc.) on the user talk page? Thanks, Shearonink (talk) 18:01, 10 April 2016 (UTC)
- They're not visible if the pages don't exist, I believe.—cyberpowerChat:Online 18:37, 10 April 2016 (UTC)
- Heh, yeah I know lowercase sigmabot hasn't made any archives yet, but this is my point... Archive pages of the talk page already exist, in the ClueBot III format. The user in question might not be the most technologically-adept, so is there a way to place an archive box on the main talk page that has links to the existing archives of User talk:Chicbyaccident/Archives/2015/November, User talk:Chicbyaccident/Archives/2015/October and so on. I am thinking that I might come across other editors who could want to convert from one archive-bot to another (or I might want to convert an article talk page myself) and I would like to know how to do that. Thanks, Shearonink (talk) 19:53, 10 April 2016 (UTC)
- Sigmabot has been set to archive as ClueBot did. There should be no change.—cyberpowerChat:Online 20:31, 10 April 2016 (UTC)
- I know that. I know it's been set to construct the archive pages with exactly the same parameters as ClueBot III but what about the visible archive boxes that the archive-bots usually provide so readers can easily find the previously-archived content? I've just edited the talk page to show you what I am referring to...if a search box with links to the previously archived content/pages is placed on the page, will that search box screw up the incoming/new archiving? Thanks, Shearonink (talk) 22:17, 10 April 2016 (UTC)
- I put ClueBot's Archive Box which seems to autopopulate archive pages. I haven't looked into how it does this, but I think it should work.—cyberpowerChat:Online 00:02, 11 April 2016 (UTC)
- Well....it worked but... Lowercase sigmabot did do its job but since there's no code for a new archive box there aren't any links on the main talk page for the archived pages (which was my concern all along). After a conversion from one archiving bot to another there has to be some way to have an archive box for the pages that the newer bot (lowercase sigmabot III) is now creating. Shearonink (talk) 15:27, 11 April 2016 (UTC)
- Sorry, there's no other solution I can think of. It would have to be done manually, for the time being, unless someone wants to fashion a Lua module.—cyberpowerChat:Online 15:54, 11 April 2016 (UTC)
- Ok, thanks anyway. Any idea of a WP noticeboard that the coders around here watch and I maybe might get some solution that I can keep on-hand for future situations? This can't be the only WP page ever to change their archiving method... In the meantime, I have an idea I will try...I am going to try to deactivate the present archive box, place links to the old archive pages and then activate the lowercase sigmabot archive box... I dunno, might work. Shearonink (talk) 17:28, 11 April 2016 (UTC)

Just in case any page-watchers want to know how this ended up.... I opened a thread at Wikipedia:Village pump (technical) called Changing a user talk page from one archiving method to another. User:Graham87 placed {{MonthlyArchive}} on Chicbyaccident's talk page which allowed for links to the archived content and searching. Also, much thx to cyberpower678 for all his help.Shearonink (talk) 16:19, 12 April 2016 (UTC)
2 stale threads
@Cyberpower678: I cannot figure out why lowercase sigmabot III does not archive my top two threads. They were without a timestamp but I recently added one (set to 1st March) and the bot disregarded those two threads. --QEDK (T ☕ C) 08:32, 15 April 2016 (UTC)
- The bot needs an actual signed time stamp, trying signing it.—cyberpowerChat:Online 12:53, 15 April 2016 (UTC)
- Did so and set year to 2015. --QEDK (T ☕ C) 14:31, 15 April 2016 (UTC)
- Now you wait for the bot to come by again.—cyberpowerChat:Limited Access 16:14, 15 April 2016 (UTC)
- That worked. --QEDK (T ☕ C) 16:08, 16 April 2016 (UTC)

Time-Until-Arcive Based on Post Length
I think that longer posts should be archived sooner and shorter posts archived later.98.195.88.33 (talk) 23:25, 12 May 2016 (UTC)

User Contribution Search
Why were the three checkboxes in the User Contribution Search disabled? They should be re-enabled. GeoffreyT2000 (talk) 00:13, 13 May 2016 (UTC)
- The previous version of the tool, yb Scottywong, had implemented it, but I don't think it's a good idea. The asterisk character "*" can be used in page titles (eg A* search algorithm), so it's not ideal, I think, to use it as a wildcard. →Σσς. (Sigma) 06:05, 19 May 2016 (UTC)

Hey there – I take it you're the developer and/or maintainer of the Editor Interaction Analyser. I'm trying to run the tool today but it always comes back with the following error message:
