editSpecifically, Bilson-Thompson et al proposed that Loop quantum gravity theory could reproduce the standard model. So far only the first generation of fermions (leptons and quarks) with correct charge and parity properties have been modelled using preons constituted of braids of spacetime as the building blocks[1]. Utilization of quantum computing concepts made it possible to demonstrate that the particles are able to survive quantum fluctuations.[2]

- Captain de Gaulle was severely wounded in March 1916 at the gruesome Battle of Verdun and left for dead on the battlefield. He was, however, found and taken prisoner by the Germans. He made five unsuccessful escape attempts, and was put in solitary confinement at Ingolstadt fortress, a retaliation camp, where he encountered another incorrigible — Russian Lieutenant Mikhail Tukhachevsky.

- Kouchner worked as a humanitarian volunteer during the Siege of Naba’a refugee camp in Lebanon in East Beirut during the Lebanese Civil War taking risks that "other foreign aid workers weren’t, even worked closely with the sometimes-controversial Shia cleric Imam Musa al-Sadr."[1]

- Another etymology is straightforward. "Can" means low as "Aram"[3] means high. A straightforward meaning of Canaan is "lowland." This was first applied to the lowland or classical Phoenicia, mainly Sidon, then by extension to the whole region.[4] .......... The eponym Ham[5] merely means "Hot" or "Red" in Hebrew or Canaanite. Some authors reason that the attribution was made because the Canaanite coast but not the interior was under Egyptian domination for several centuries.[7] ^ Asimov, Isaac, Asimov's Guide to the Bible, Volume I, Page 44, Avon 1971 ....

editThanks for the clarification. I knew all these guys. I still have equipment I purchased from Draper. This is off-reference-able material, but I also knew Denny (I wish to hell I could remember his last name--I did know it almost 40 years ago). I also know exactly who Jimmy is, and where he is now. Of course, there is no sourcing on that, private names etc. but its good to see somebody on the ball.Trackinfo (talk) 02:33, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
