As a child runaway Wendy fell into the arms of Ted Binion[3] , heir-apparent of the Binion's Horseshoe Club family. Binion threatened Wendy into human trafficking and used her to sit with the high roller gamblers as a good luck charm. Binion would then passed her off to Culinary, Teamsters Union Enforcer Mob Boss Tom Hanley'. Wendy would eventually marry Union Enforcer Hit-man Tom Hanley[4] together they had a daughter by the name of Amy Colleen Hanley[5] .
Tom Hanley would later be convicted of murdering Culinary Union Leader 'Al Bramlet[6] along with his son Andrew Gramby Hanley[7] , Tom and Gramby then made a deal with the feds to go in the Federal Witness Program to escape the death penalty. Both Tom and Gramby Hanley have died in the Federal Witness Program[8] . Wendy Hanley was also charged with the murder of Al Bramlet, the charges against Wendy were dropped[9] .
Wendy Hanley would then marry Robert Peoples[10] a convicted murder, and the undercover agent who set Wendy up during the investigation of Bramlet's murder, and who himself was a corporate promoterfor the Dragna family and also connected heavily to the LA crime family According to the FBI, Robert Peoples was considered armed and dangerous and was heavily engaged in organized crime at the time the mob transpired into what we call today corporate mafia,. Wendy would stay married to Robert Peoples until 1989, when she moved up to Reno Nevada and filed for divorce.
While living in Reno, Nevada, Wendy became a political fundraiser for politicians. Wendy worked on many campaigns, Governor, Congressman, Lt. Governor, and a few small campaigns. Living in Reno, Wendy cohabited with Dick Stoddard[11] the Weatherman for Channel 8, together Wendy and Dick had a daughter by the name of Robin L. Stoddard.
After leaving Reno and moving back down to Las Vegas, Nevada. Wendy met and married her current husband Frank Mazaros. Wendy makes her home in the Las Vegas suburbs, and enjoys a wide circle of family and friends. Wendy also speaks on panels and raises money for children who runaway from home and are thrown into human trafficking. Wendy's charities are 1-800-RUNAWAY or www.1800RUNAWAY.ORG[12]
