The Chinggis Khaan Bulgan is a rear mid-engined coupé, designed and manufactured by Chinggis Khaan Motors of Sukhbaatar (Mongolia).
Featuring a 5.0 L Toyota-sourced 2UR-GSE, it is the first supercar to be powered entirely by Japanese V8 engines. It is the second Mongolian car to be powered by V8 engine.
Powertrain
editThe Bulgan has a 5.0 L Toyota-sourced, supercharged 2UR-GSE, along with an 8-speed automatic transmission from Aisin Seiki. An optional ZF-sourced 8-speed 8HP90 is also available at extra cost. The 5.0 L V8 engine is the sole engine available for Bulgan. While the engine comes from Toyota as naturally-aspirated, the 2.3 L Eaton TVS supercharger is installed by the manufacturer in-house. Changes include installing a new serpentine belt onto the supercharger belt to power up the supercharger, and to oil the supercharger from the engine. This supercharger is derived from the Roush Stage 3 Mustang.
All trim levels come standard with superchargers.
