This user is not an administrator or a bureaucrat. He does some work in admin-related areas, but his word should not be regarded above that of an administrator or bureaucrat.
I'm demize. Previously I was known as Julianmh, and as such that username is occupied to prevent impersonation and confusion.
I'm currently attending Sheridan College doing an Information Security program. In my spare time, I mostly play games or watch TV, but I also read from time to time. I enjoy cyberpunk and science fiction, so if you have any recommendations feel free to give them on my talk page!
I took a break from Wikipedia for a while, but I've found that I just can't stay away. I enjoy what I do here, so as soon as I dusted off the old tools, I knew I couldn't put them down again! Here on Wikipedia, I spend time patrolling recent changes (mostly new editor's contribs, but occasionally IP edits or all changes) and I patrol new pages from the back of the new page log, both with the assistance of Twinkle. My goals here are:
Get involved
Fight vandalism
Become an administrator. Since I've come back, I've noticed that there are many admin-related areas adjacent to what I do that get backlogged (WP:AIV is one, as well as speedy deletions). Since I've only recently returned and I've noticed that things have changed significantly since I was last active, I'm going to give myself some time to get used to any changes here and then I may start a request for adminship. That said, a nomination from another user is more than welcome!
I do a few different things here on enwiki. Most of the time I review pending changes and patrol new editor's recent changes, but I also do other things:
For all your assistance shepherding users through the changing username process and helping to manage the USURP page, please accept this as a small token of my appreciation. –xenotalk 02:17, 18 January 2011 (UTC)
