This user account is a bot that uses AutoWikiBrowser, operated by After Midnight (talk). It is used to make repetitive automated or semi-automated edits that would be extremely tedious to do manually, in accordance with the bot policy. The bot is currently inactive but retains the approval of the community.
To stop this bot until restarted by the bot's owner, edit its talk page. If that page is a redirect, edit that original redirecting page, not the target of the redirect. Administrators: if this bot continues causing harm after receiving a message, please block it or remove from the approved accounts.

AMbot

AMbot is a bot which helps with categorization as a result of decisions at CFD. Other functions may be available in the future.

What AMbot does

AMbot is an AWB bot.
AMbot takes instructions from its operator to get started and then may run in automatic mode once started on a task.
Takes instruction from its owner to delete categories or recategorize based on instructions at WP:CFDW.
AMbot is able to do some tasks which normally would require manual editing, such as those found at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Working/Manual#Multiple merge targets.

Approval status

Task 1: category add/rename/delete for CFD/UCFD approval at Wikipedia:Bots/Requests for approval/AMbot at 10 epm per [1].
Task 2: category tagging and tag removal for group nominations approval at Wikipedia:Bots/Requests for approval/AMbot 2 at 5-6 epm.
