Tracy Smith is an American professional football coach who is currently the special teams coordinator for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL).

editSmith grew up in Beaumont, Texas.
Coaching career
editSan Francisco 49ers
editOn February 17, 2012, Smith was hired by the San Francisco 49ers as an special teams assistant.[1]
Oakland Raiders
editOn January 27, 2015, Smith was hired by the Oakland Raiders as an assistant special teams coach.[2]
Houston Texans
editOn January 19, 2018, Smith was hired by the Houston Texans as an assistant special teams coach.[3]
On July 21, 2020, Smith was promoted as the special teams coordinator.[4]
Seattle Seahawks (second stint)
editOn March 3, 2021, Smith was hired again by the Seahawks as an assistant special teams coach.[5]
Carolina Panthers
editOn February 8, 2024, Smith was hired as the new special teams coordinator for the Carolina Panthers.[6]
