Scottish charts?
editThe article says their second single "only charted in Scotland". Is there a Scottish chart?! Sah10406 (talk) 00:04, 16 January 2016 (UTC)
Relationship between characters
editThe page says that the Krankies were played as father and son - I always thought they were meant to be brothers. Can anyone confirm this either way? -- (Anon)
- They were supposed to be father and son. -- Derek Ross | Talk 05:39, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
- I've removed the salary statement since I can't find any grounds or source for it whatsoever. I've also removed a libelous statement from this discussion page.
- In some of their earliest national TV appearances in theatre variety shows Ian doesn't know Jimmy at all. Jimmy is just a lost child who walks up on stage. (83.16.188.58 (talk) 12:27, 6 February 2012 (UTC))
I believe they also used to do a sort of ventriloquist act, with Jimmy (Janette) as the "dummy".
They also had a record called "Where's Me Mam?", with Janette as Jimmy and Ian as the mam.
When they appeared on Crackerjack and other later shows, Jimmy called Ian just Ian, not dad or anything like that.
1950's precursor
editThe idea surely came from Jimmy Clitheroe - who however was a male dwarf.
Everton fans
editIs it right that they are Everton fans? Is there any references? αυρδεκ ζαφιρ 10:11, 20 March 2011 (UTC)
