Curaçao status

I was wondering why on the U.S seasons when a dependency, constituent country, special region, etc. is visited, you all write the name of the dependency plus the name of the country it belongs to, for instance Leg 1 (United States → French Polynesia, France), but in this case when Curaçao was visited somebody changed what i wrote, which was Leg 6 (Peru → Curaçao, The Netherlands) to Leg 6 (Peru → Curaçao), dropping , The Netherlands...
