AGE
editIsn't D.O.B better than age? Mglovesfun 03:54, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, I fixed it with {{birth date and age}} --rogerd 04:38, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
Bill Simmons' "dick" comment
editAny way we can get confirmation on that? A link or any source? --B 17:45, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
Not related to Mark Twain
editThe baseball reference to PO'N being a direct descendant of Mark Twain is clearly not a reliable source. Evcerybody makes jokes about Mark Twain, but this one can be checked out. It's not true, Twain's only Grandchild, Nina Clemens Gabrilowitsch died without any children according to her NY Times obituary. Smallbones (talk) 17:17, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
"personally identified" by Trump
editOn its own, the personal life sentence that he was "personally identified" by Donald Trump really doesn't serve anything. Identified as what, exactly? Either elaborate on this or cut it, frankly. Echoedmyron (talk) 21:39, 9 March 2016 (UTC)
- I wrote it, and admit it's a clumsy clause. I'm not certain of whether or not it counts as an "endorsement" since I couldn't hear what he said and sources aren't really saying. I'll cut it for now. – Muboshgu (talk) 21:44, 9 March 2016 (UTC)
- I'm in favor of removing this. It's irrelevant.Seaofbacon (talk) 01:12, 14 April 2016 (UTC)
- I removed this and an additional reference to Paul O'Neill's endorsement of Trump. If we deem the Trump endorsement pertinent to this encyclopedia article, then we should also include the numerous foods O'Neill praises during Yankee broadcasts. All of this is of questionable relevance to someone interested in learning about Paul O'Neill.Seaofbacon (talk) 02:42, 3 June 2016 (UTC)
