Conor Sweeney
editArdscoil Rís states: "The current European Editor of the Irish Independent Conor Sweeney also attended ArdScoil Ris.". Is that still the case? If it is, how important is the role of European Editor ? John Vandenberg 23:45, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
Two queries
edit1: What does "revisionist" under format mean? 2: Why is the Sunday Times "excluded" from the INM sales figures for Sundays? It gives an entirely artificial view as a result.
Vandalism
editThe addition of the word "revisionism" seems to be an act of vandalism. The word can only be understood in the context of the paper's political stand and not as a format. I think It should be edited out. Berto C 16:43, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
Opinion/conjecture?
edit"these elderly comics look rather out of place to some readers. No other newspapers appear to be syndicating the Count Curly Wee comics as of 2006."
These statement seems to be personal opinion and unverifiable conjecture - should it be deleted? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Marmat5847 (talk • contribs) 12:15, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
1919-mid 1970s: who owned it?
editWho owned this rag after Murphy died in 1919 and before O'Reilly bought it in the mid-1970s and made it the trash that it is today? 109.77.90.86 (talk) 23:49, 16 November 2011 (UTC)
Fianna Fail & Anti Sinn Fein
editI have removed these from the political section of the infobox. While both are referenced, I would like quotes from both references which would justify it's inclusion in the section. The paper was traditionally very pro Fine Gael; though certainly in the past 2 decades it would have changed it's allegiance. Again it would hard to represent this fact without the infobox becoming too cluttered. Most newspapers have been hostile to SF (especially during the troubles), but I think it's inaccurate to state this as a political position. It is mentioned in the main body of the article in any case. CivisHibernius (talk) 20:33, 5 September 2013 (UTC)
