I have enhanced the stub, as I heard that the author of Grannies and Time Machines works on the control team for this satellite.--Aodhd 15:37, 20 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Name

edit

The name of this telescope, INTEGRAL, is the name of the spaceship in the 1921 scifi novel We. Is this coincidence or tribute? ~ Riobranden 18:16, 5 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • Probably just a coincidence, since it is an abbreviation. They were more likely thinking of the mathematical reference when they thought of it, I would guess. --Etacar11 18:50, 5 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Attitude control

edit

Article says " Propulsion is by a hydrazine monopropellant system" but should that be for attitude control (eg unwinding the momentum wheels) rather than 'propulsion'? - Rod57 (talk) 18:15, 16 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Could we list some notable observations

edit

Most other spacecraft articles have them. Helpful to see their contribution. - Rod57 (talk) 15:33, 5 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
