Nyagulov or Njagulov
editHi Jingiby, I've tried to search for sources of what would the most accurate romanization of Нягулов is. Some sources say that я is always romanized as ya and others as ja, except when its at the end of a word, in the case of which it is ia. Later I tried to search for what version (Nyagulov or Njagulov) is used more commonly and it seems the scholar himself uses Njagulov and that this form is more common. Is Nyagulov really the most appropiate form? Could you provide sources here for this romanization of я? Super Ψ Dro 14:43, 19 December 2021 (UTC)
- Hi, look at the table on the bottom of the article Romanization of Bulgarian. For Я the transliteration is YA except in word-final -ия where it is -ia (2006 official system). Jingiby (talk) 14:50, 19 December 2021 (UTC)
- Alright. Thanks for your answer. Super Ψ Dro 14:52, 19 December 2021 (UTC)
