Blast from the Past
editThis article, and especially the manual that was linked to, brought back some good memories. I was the project leader for EDT version 3. The design of the system-wide startup file was done at a DECUS conference—I asked the participants in an EDT presentation for ideas, and together we put together the design. TPU implementation of EDT?
editI was involved with EDT in the 1980s, and I do not recall a port to TPU, though the TPU editor, EVE, did draw inspiration for its user interface from EDT. I have added a "citation needed" note to the article in the hope that someone who knows the later history of EDT will contribute here. John Sauter (talk) 17:03, 24 July 2022 (UTC)
