Founding

edit

The last edit changed the origin of Dean Witter from San Francicso to Calcutta. No evidence is given, and other web resources indicate the company was founded in San Francisco. I reverted to the previous version. If anyone has evidence of origins in Calcutta, please post it.

Great article! One question, though. Is there any information besides history? How about revenue figures, important management, share prices, any exposure outside the U.S.? RIPGC (talk) 04:15, 24 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

You are so good! Others argue when they are not awarded GA. Still others don't respond. Dean Witter is now unquestionably a GA. No need to go through the formality of that checklist. I did go over it and it passes with flying colors. RIPGC (talk) 03:04, 25 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

This 2010 nomination has 10 citation needed templates, as well as some prose issues (may not be encyclopedic, puffery and peacock words...). Also concerned on the quality of the sources; surely there must be more secondary sources instead of using primary ones, for example, one annual report is used in the entire business overview section.
