No mention of Rob Spence, the "Eyeborg"?
editHi
As far as I could see, there is in the current article no mention of the real-life cyborg Rob Spence, which surprised me a bit, considering that he is quite well known since years now.
For those who are unfamiliar with him, Rob is a guy who lost his right eye in a gun accident, and replaced the eye with a prosthetic eye containing a video camera. Obviously he cannot actually see with it, but as he has a passion for filming, he therefore use the recorder for recording things in his everyday life. I attach an image of mr. Spence and his eye for the curious ones: http://bodyhacks.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/Eyeborg-2-570x380.jpg You will also find that there are plenty of reliable sources treating his case, if doing a search on him.
Surely, Rob would qualify perfectly in regards of the topic Cyborgs, and enough to deserve mention in the article? --Okama-San (talk) 10:30, 6 November 2017 (UTC)
Edited to add: I now added "Eyeborg" mr. Rob Spence into the article and also added the "fingerborg" Jerry Jalava. Okama-San (talk) 18:14, 14 January 2019 (UTC)
Regarding two recently deleted additions
editHello
Yesterday, I added the two "borgs" Rob Spence and Jerre Jalava in the section "Actual cyborgization attempts", however these two additions were removed by Sphilbrick; according the the edit history, the addition about the "Eyeborg" Rob Spence ( reference: The Telegraph ) was removed because of copyright issues? The other addition, Jerry Jalava, was however removed without any explanation at all, which should have been provided in above discussion section titled "No mention of Rob Spence, the "Eyeborg"?". Hence, to Sphilbrick, please clarify your edits in this section here.
Thank you. Okama-San (talk) 13:36, 15 January 2019 (UTC)
