I feel this page is a piece of junk.
A solution to this is to give graphic examples for each club.
I would do this myself if I could upload the images. Alas, I am not authorized for such a "privilege". ForeverQuixotic (talk) 07:24, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
- While I disagree that the article is "junk," I would concur that a picture of each type would be of some value. Surv1v4l1st (Talk|Contribs) 17:48, 26 December 2009 (UTC)
Non violent uses?
editThis page seems to focus only on their more modern day usage. Which of course makes sense. Clubs now and essentially have always been used as a weapon. But I would suggest mentioning their non lethal uses. They were commonly used by dock workers and the like to beat rope. In the past I have heard of other uses as well, most of which are now anarchistic. I know this is trivial but I feel it could add a nice touch. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.10.101.186 (talk) 07:16, 8 August 2013 (UTC)
Duplicate page?
editThere is another Wikipedia page called Baton (law enforcement) that appears to duplicate, or at least to overlap with, this page. Thomas.Hedden (talk) 02:53, 13 January 2014 (UTC)
