editWhy Nordkinn and not Nordkyn? As I have always known the name of the cape has always been spelled as Nordkyn in English. Can someone explain me why the strange name Nordkinn is present here? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.181.67.133 (talk) 16:00, 24 October 2010 (UTC) The google search gives 8 610 finds for Nordkinn and 29 700 finds for Nordkyn. The WEB biggest online English dictionaries as http://dictionary.reference.com, http://www.merriam-webster.com, http://www.thefreedictionary.com render no results for Nordkinn at all. The name Nordkinn is also absent in the American Heritage Dictionary 4th edition(2000). So why should one butcher the English language by introducing some extrinsic content? If the name of Cape Nordkyn is Nordkinn in Norwegian, so it should be noted , but I do strongly suggest the main name of the cape should be transformed back to Nordkyn. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.181.67.133 (talk) 16:10, 24 October 2010 (UTC)

In this article it is said that this is the northern most point of mainland europe which is NOT true. |
