External links modified
editHello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just modified one external link on 1900 Open Championship. Please take a moment to review my edit. If you have any questions, or need the bot to ignore the links, or the page altogether, please visit this simple FaQ for additional information. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/web/20120418224641/http://www.theopen.com/~/media/The%20Open/Information/Media_Guide.ashx to http://www.theopen.com/~/media/The%20Open/Information/Media_Guide.ashx
When you have finished reviewing my changes, you may follow the instructions on the template below to fix any issues with the URLs.

Scratchings
editThe official site (https://www.theopen.com/Heritage/PreviousOpens#!/1900/St%20Andrews) has the 81 players who started. This is in agreement with old media guide. The Majors of Golf (https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=JAtHsOzOCoUC&printsec=frontcover#v=onepage&q=1900&f=false) lists 3 others who were in the draw but it seems didn't start: James Batley, Ben Campbell (golfer) and Thomas Renouf. The Times for 7 June says that are 84 entries and then gives the starting order, which includes only 81. The Glasgow Herald (https://news.google.com/newspapers?id=mdM-AAAAIBAJ&sjid=oEwMAAAAIBAJ&pg=1362%2C6468898) is similar except that includes James Batley in the final pairing with Andrew Scott (golfer) whereas The Times has Scott playing on his own. Overall it seems the official site is probably correct and so, in line with usual practice, I will treat these 3 as "withdrew" but as "did not play". Nigej (talk) 11:05, 6 December 2017 (UTC)
