Leonardo Alfredo Ramos Girón (born 11 September 1969) is a Uruguayan football manager and former player who played as a midfielder.[1]

Club career
editRamos played for Vélez Sársfield, Banfield, Estudiantes de La Plata, River Plate and Chacarita Juniors in the Primera División de Argentina.[2] He had two spells with Salamanca in the Spanish Segunda División.[3] He also had a brief spell in Chile for Colo-Colo.[4]
International career
editRamos made eight appearances for the senior Uruguay national football team from 1991 to 2000,[1] including five FIFA World Cup qualifying matches.[5]
Coaching career
editIn May 2018, it was announced that Ramos would leave Peñarol and join Al-Ettifaq.[6]
On 15 April 2024, Ramos was appointed as manager of Saudi Pro League side Al-Tai until the end of the 2023–24 season.[7]
