Real Malabar FC Kondotty is an Indian professional football club based in Kondotty,[1] Kerala, that plays in Kerala Premier League, the top division football league in the state of Kerala.[2][3] [4] [5] [6] P.P. Mohammed Safneed, a midfielder for Real Malabar, is also a member of the Kerala football team.[7]
History

Real Malabar Football Club were formed on 2021,[8] in Malappuram,[9] to compete in the Kerala Premier League.[4] The period from 2019 to 2024 was a period of growth for elevens football in the southern Indian state of Kerala, and Real Malabar FC was one of the clubs formed as part of it.[5] 2021 The club was formed by a Malayali businessman named Usman Thennala, who is based in Dubai. The title sponsor for the club's first season, 2021–22 season, was the Edex Group. But Usman sold the club for the 2022–23 season and sponsors Edex Group took ownership of the club.[10]
