There seems to be a problem regarding the description and/or licensing of this particular file. Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]
[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Dear Norman Einstein, 

I am a retired proffessor and currently redacting my compiled course notes into a book named "History of Interior Design and Furniture” which will be in turkish language and will be distributed in Turkey. It is a cultural and educational reference book. I would like to use the image from your  “Fertile Crescent Map” image "https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Fertile_Crescent_map.png" I kindly ask for your permission and information about terms and conditions of using your image. Your name will be indicated in  the photo credits line. Since the book is in turkish language I would also change the name of the places in turkish language, if thats o.k with you.

Kosovo is an Independent State

The Map that you've uploaded shows a Country that is now independent, since its liberation from the Serbian Autocracy in 1998-1999. Kosovo is now independent since 2008. If you could somehow change the Borders between Kosovo and Serbia, I and others would be thankful. Otherwise, I like the Map very much and learned some new things from it too :).
