Species categories
[edit]Hi Mperdomo, I see you producing several species categories, particularly for a use in category:Flora of the Canary Islands. Please don't do this! You might have been confused by the species categories which are remains of a robot test run. Though the robot was soon stopped after massive protests of botanists, it unfortunately had caused a great mess. Many of the categories produced still remain and now mislead newcomers (like you) to produce similar species categories. Note that only species articles are maintained by botanist, not the redundant species categories that would cause even a double amount of work for each maintenance. Thanks for your kind consideration. --Ies 19:25, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
Well, yes, I thought I was doing right... some FAQ about this might save some time and energies! I still don't quite understand it. Am I supposed to upload the images and leave them totally uncategorized? Thanks for pointing this out before I did even more! --Mperdomo 23:07, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
