Hello fellow wiki volunteers. I have always been fascinated by Wikipedia's philosophy and its Community's commitment to provide free (like beer and freedom 😊) and emendable knowledge to everyone.
I found an amazing definition of Wikipedia on Reddit:
"Wikipedia built the biggest modern information hub using nothing but nerds' need to correct each other."
It may sound bad, but I think this is exactly what makes wiki comparable to the scientific community: an amazing environment where everybody can correct and improve the unlimited mega dataset of human knowledge.
