Tramezzi affrescati of Piedmont and Lombardy

In the Franciscan church in Piedmont and Lombardy the word “tramezzo” indicates the wall that divides the nave into two parts, one for the community and the other for the monks.
During the XV and XVI century they used to decorate the “tramezzo” with frescoes representing the life and the Passion of Jesus
