[edit]Hi all I added another species got the message(warning) that the page is 36k? long which exceeds the 32K capacity of some browsers as I have more still to add to this family I've started to break out some of the species will complete over the next few weeks I do three now as examples any issues with how and why Speak up after 30th April I commence doing all species in the same format. There's an error
[edit]Hi to all. I was looking for a picture of a Mealy Parrot (Amazona farinosa) to include it on the article of the es.wiki and I find out that the picture named Mealy Parrot is a photo of a red-lored parrot (Amazona autumnalis). I’m new at the wiki, so I have no idea of how the commons actually works. Is there someone who can properly tag this picture? If not, I’ll try to do it myself when I have learned how to do it, but I’m sure it will take me some time. Cheers! --Cygnus 23:54, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
- Anyone can edit the info on a picture (just click on the edit tab on its page), but in this case the filename of the picture Amazona farinosa.jpg will confuse things even if you correct the description and categorization. As there is no easy way to rename the page it is probably best to save a copy of the picture and then upload it under a correct name. The old one can then be marked for deletion. From the original website that the picture came from, the photo is by Jerry Bauer, you could add that into the description. I will leave you to have a go at re-uploaqding it etc as you might as well start somewhere, and you can't do much damage that can't be undone :-). Cacatuidae, not Psittacidae
[edit]I removed the genera Cacatua, Callocephalon, Calyptorhynchus, Eolophus, Nymphicus, and Probosciger from this page. These six genera belong to the family Cacatuidae, not to Psittacidae. I am going to put them in a new Cacatuidae gallery page asap. 217.95.231.32 20:17, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
