Title?

[edit]

Given that Cyprus is not an exclusively Greek island AND the Republic of Cyprus' official languages are Greek AND Turkish, I find it really unfair that the title is ONLY in Greek. Therefore I shall move it to "Kıbrıs - Κύπρος" without delay, as I assume everyone would be OK with this. Runningfridgesrule (talk) 22:47, 8 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is even more ridiculous now, the TRNC is not part of the Greek Cypriot administered portion of the Island of Cyprus. Northern Cyprus has its own pages. Take everything "Northern" out of this page. (Or make a page for the "Island of Cyprus", under category:Cyprus (island), in English.). Many things relating to the Island of Cyprus in WPs and even here are only clumsy mistakes. I prefer to say "mistakes" because I am sure of the goodwill of most contributors. However, there is quite a "propaganda" about a country called Cyprus (sic); sorry, that is not true. Cyprus is an island home to two countries and several other non-state but quite autonomous entities. --E4024 (talk) 22:56, 3 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
What of the two parts is in several international institutions and with the name Cyprus ? What part is in the part of the United Nations, European Union and with what name, Commonwealth of Nations, World Bank, International Monetary Fund and Council of Europe?
