English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
Thanks to a donation by the Bataafse Petroleum Maatschappij the Technical College Delft now has been able to built two testing factories for physical and chemical technology. In these factories the student receive practical education. Today the factories are officially handed over to prof. dr. G. Holst of the Technical College by the director of the BPM, H. Bloemgarten. Also present is a.o. the minister of Education, Arts and Sciences, dr. F.J.Th. Rutten. SHOTS: - Ext. and int. factories with installations; - Bloemgarten gives a speech in a classroom and hands over the key to Holst; - Rutten and company tour the factory. Note: Date according to card system Polygoon is January 9, 1951, according to other sources February 9.

Door een schenking van de Bataafse Petroleum Maatschappij heeft de TH Delft een tweetal proeffabrieken voor fysische en chemische technologie kunnen bouwen. In deze fabrieken ontvangen studenten praktijkscholing. Vandaag worden de fabrieken door de directeur van de BPM, ir. H. Bloemgarten, officieel overgedragen aan prof. dr. G. Holst van de TH. Aanwezig is oa ook de minister van Onderwijs, Kunsten en Wetenschappen, dr. F.J.Th. Rutten. SHOTS: - Ext. en int. fabrieken met fabrieksinstallaties; - Bloemgarten houdt een toespraak in een collegezaal en overhandigt de sleutel aan Holst; - Rutten en gezelschap maken een rondgang in de fabriek. Aantekening : Datum is volgens kaartsysteem Polygoon 9 januari 1951, volgens andere bronnen 9 februari. |
