English transcr.: International Campaign for the Safeguarding of sites and monuments in the "Cultural Triangle". At the request of the Sri Lankan Government, UNESCO is taking part in a five-year programme to restore and protect the principal sites and monuments within a zone marked out by the ancient cultural capitals of Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa and Kandy. Entrance to Vatadage, the rotunda stupa house, with, on each side, the "stoneguards". (12th A.D.).

Entrée du Vatadage (monument circulaire de la relique - 12ème s. après J.C.) avec, de chaque côté, les"gardes de pierre".
